Marilyn Ee started the Ph.D. program in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Sam Houston State University in Fall 2019. Previously, she earned both her Master of Arts degree in Sociology (2017) and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Animation (2012) from California State University, Northridge. Her current research surrounds macro-level analyses of crime and homelessness. Her other research interests include policing, community policing, and crime analysis. Additionally, she is interested in teaching research methods, social statistics, and data visualization practices.
