Joe Serio is Project Manager at the Correctional Management Institute of Texas (CMIT) at Sam Houston State University, where he is completing the Ph.D. in Criminal Justice. In his former life, he was the only American to work in the Organized Crime Control Department of the Soviet national police and was director of the Moscow office of a global corporate investigation and business intelligence firm. He is the author of a critically acclaimed book, former editor of a highly regarded magazine, a world traveler, musical performer, public speaker, and popular trainer. Joe has been studying components of effective time management and organizational skills for many years. This class will discuss fear, procrastination, multitasking, and mastery as well as techniques for finding more time in your day and organizing your work space.

Cancellation Policy:
If the participant has already paid, he/she will be refunded half the cost of the registration fee if written notice of cancellation is received by the Correctional Management Institute of Texas no later than ten (10) business days prior to the program. No refunds are available after this date, but substitutions of attendees are permitted. If no written cancellation is received and the participant does not attend the program, the participant/agency will be required to pay 100% of the registration fee if the registration fee was not previously paid.
