Gangs have been making big news across the country for decades. Obviously, Texas is not immune from the gang threat, especially given its proximity to the border. In the program's general session, briefings from around Texas will be provided as to the current state of the gang threat. We will get an inside look at prison gangs, their tattoos, activities, and connections to the outside world. A former gang member will talk about what steps can be taken to influence young people involved in gangs.
AS ALWAYS WITH ALL SPECIAL DIVISION PROGRAMS, FOR EVERY THREE PAID REGISTRATIONS FROM ONE AGENCY, A FOURTH REGISTRATION IS FREE.

Cancellation Policy:
If the participant has already paid, he/she will be refunded half the cost of the registration fee if written notice of cancellation is received by the Correctional Management Institute of Texas no later than ten (10) business days prior to the program. No refunds are available after this date, but substitutions of attendees are permitted. If no written cancellation is received and the participant does not attend the program, the participant/agency will be required to pay 100% of the registration fee if the registration fee was not previously paid.
