The Women in Criminal Justice conference will be great conference this year, featuring many new speakers and topics as requested by participants.  Topics include:  Overcoming Obstacles to Peak Performance, Defensive Tactics, Balancing Family & Career, Taking Care of Your Body, the Professional Image, Legacy Leadership/Criticism Management, Who is the Female Offender, and Character Counts.

The fabulous speakers for the program include Vicki Spriggs, Tim Quintana, Cherrie Greco, Randall Garner, PhD, Dr. Larry Wolk, Carmella Jones, and Monty Hudspeth.  Each are wonderful speakers and have a wealth of information to share.

The conference will feature a leadership panel once again to include Judge Beverly Malazzo from Harris County, Rissie Owens from the Texas Board of Pardons and Parole, Vicki Spriggs from the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission, Cherie Townsend from the Texas Youth Commission, Sheriff Lupe Valdez of Dallas County, and Carmella Jones from the Texas Association of Counties as the moderator.

We will offer live music one evening, as well as a free Riverwalk shuttle one evening.  As always, each participant will also get a conference tshirt and bag.

Exhibitors include make-up, jewelry, bath and body products, home-made crafts, purses, clothing - all by women who are self-employed and/or small business owners.

Due to the elimination of the "state of Texas" rate, the Omni is offering a discounted rate of $105 for a single and $125 for a double, which is less than the federal rate that Texas hotels use now.

As with all Special Programs Division, with every three paid registrations from one Agency, a fourth registration is free.

Also, you can pay before, during, or after the conference with check, cash, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express) and you can now pay online after registering.
