All registered participants MUST have a completed NOMINATION FORM on file at the Texas Probation Training Academy.

This training will help participants develop the preparation, presentation and platform delivery skills needed to conduct training using curricula developed by the National Institute of Corrections. Focus areas include the needs and characteristics of adult learners, learning styles, the role of the correctional trainer, managing a learner-centered training environment, asking and responding to questions, facilitating lesson plans, teaching to performance objectives, and basic teaching methods.

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be given to those who cancel ten (10) working days prior to the training. A $35.00 administrative fee will be assessed for cancellations after the deadline. The Correctional Management Institute of Texas reserves the right to retain or collect fees in full for those who fail to cancel prior to the training or for those who fail to attend. Substitutions are permitted anytime.
