After filling out the registration form, you will be asked what size t-shirt you would like. Please complete this section so we can order t-shirts accordingly.
Also, at this time, we have scheduled Charlotte Stallings to open the program on Tuesday, with Mark Warren to speak on Wednesday, and Nancy Baird to also speak Wednesday and close the program on Thursday.
Charlotte is currently the President and CEO of Getting Smart! LLC. As a former Vice President of Investment Strategies and National Spokesperson for American Express, she speaks from experience. She is passionate about teaching individuals how to shape their futures. With wit and humor, Charlotte generates warmth and inspires any audience to effective action.
As the Training Coordinator and Consultant for the Texas Association of Counties, Mark assists with the vision, development, and delivery of conferences for both the internal and external customers of Texas county governments. Mark worked for the Texas Department of Public Safety for 23 years, 19 of which he spent at the Training Academy where he was the Assistant Commander for seven years.
Nancy is the President of Training Strategies, Inc., a consulting company that focuses on training and organizational development. She specializes in staff training, team building, and strategic planning. Nancy is a dynamic facilitator who has more than 25 years of experience conducting trainings and developing training materials, and has conducted trainings for more than 300 companies.
We will have a night of music, plus great door prizes as well as a special treat from Bath Junkie at registration.
Be sure to ask for the Sam Houston State University Rate. The Hotel Galvez is also offering the state rate one night before the program and one night after the program for those who may want to stay an extra day or so. The deadline to get your state rate at the hotel is May 15, 2008 - so call now for the special conference rate.
The Hotel Galvez is almost out of rooms, so the overflow hotel will be the Holiday Inn Resort on the Beach. The address for the hotel is 5002 Seawall Blvd, Galveston, TX, and the phone number is 800-465-4329. Reservations need to be made by May 26, 2008 to ensure state rate of $85.00.
Registration will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on June 16, 2008 and again from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM on June 17, 2008.

Cancellation Policy:
If the participant has already paid, he/she will be refunded half the cost of the registration fee if written notice of cancellation is received by the Correctional Management Institute of Texas no later than ten (10) business days prior to the program. No refunds are available after this date, but substitutions of attendees are permitted. If no written cancellation is received and the participant does not attend the program, the participant/agency will be required to pay 100% of the registration fee if the registration fee was not previously paid.
