End-user training - 5 hours $95
Training for Trainers - 7 hours $125
This program examines how to effectively use OC, and how to care for the person sprayed once it is safe for the officer to do so. The classroom portion of the program covers the above listed topics. Officers then participate in simulation exercises to test the officers' appropriate use of OC spray. This training is designed to not only provide instruction about the proper use of OC spray but to also test the participants tactical and decision making process regarding when to deploy this safety tool. The training meets the Court standards that state and agency must not only provide training on how to use a force tool, but must also provide training on the constitutional limits of the tool.

Cancellation Policy:
If the participant has already paid, he/she will be refunded half the cost of the registration fee if written notice of cancellation is received by the Correctional Management Institute of Texas no later than ten (10) business days prior to the program. No refunds are available after this date, but substitutions of attendees are permitted. If no written cancellation is received and the participant does not attend the program, the participant/agency will be required to pay 100% of the registration fee if the registration fee was not previously paid.
