Speakers include:

Tom Hough currently serves as the supervisor of the Training, Accreditation and Quality Control Team for Harris County Juvenile Probation. He provides training on numerous topics including Change Management, Managing by Values, Workplace Violence, and others. Tom and has been a Resource Training Officer for over thirteen years and has over twenty years of experience providing probation and mental health services to at-risk populations. He has a passion for helping others practice mindfulness and find their purpose. Tom has an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston-Victoria and a Master of Arts degree in Public Management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

Craig Corder currently serves as a Project Coordinator for the Correctional Management Institute of Texas and coordinates many events in the adult community corrections area. Prior to joining the CMIT team, he was a training Specialist for the Texas Juvenile Justice Department. He provides motivational training at the state and national level on numerous topics including Wellness, Strength-Based Employee Management, Strength-Based Supervision of Juveniles, Self-Development Techniques, Presentation Design and Delivery, Suicide Prevention and Intervention and all aspects of Texas Juvenile Probation Officer Basic Certification Training.

A native Texan, Don Moore, has worked for and with state and local governments for over 40 years. The focus of his work is on improving service quality and the work life of public employees. Currently, he directs and serves on the faculty of the Certified Public Manager program offered by Sam Houston State University in Houston. Don has held this position for the past 8 years. He has an MBA from Midwestern State University. Don lives in Round Rock with his wife of 50 years. He has two children and two grandchildren.

Charlotte Stallings talks about the importance of getting a handle on the money side of your personal or business life, and how to make better money decisions. A former Vice President of Investment Strategies at Ameriprise Financial, she developed a national initiative to provide investment and financial planning advice geared specifically to women.  She served as the firm's National Spokesperson on Women and Investing Issues. Charlotte has made appearances on CNN and other national and regional media outlets.  She is a weekly in-studio guest on Houston's FOX26 'Your Money' segment.  In 2010, Charlotte was selected by The Steed Society and Comerica Bank as one of the Top 25 Women of Houston, and she was a featured financial contributor in the November 2010 issue of Essence Magazine.

Sign-in/Registration will be on June 5, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and on June 6, 2012 from 7:00 am to 8:00 am.  The confernece will begin on June 6, 2012, at 8:00 am and conclude at 12:00 pm on June 8, 2012.

As with all Special Program Division trainings, for every 3 paid registrations from one Agency, a fourth registration is free.

Cancellation Policy:
If the participant has already paid, he/she will be refunded half the cost of the registration fee if written notice of cancellation is received by the Correctional Management Institute of Texas no later than ten (10) business days prior to the program. No refunds are available after this date, but substitutions of attendees are permitted. If no written cancellation is received and the participant does not attend the program, the participant/agency will be required to pay 100% of the registration fee if the registration fee was not previously paid.
