Designed for upper-level and senior leadership, the Criminal Justice Executive Leadership program gives you access to almost two hundred years of leadership experience in Criminal Justice. This year's speakers will be: DOUG DRETKE - former Director of the Correctional Institutions Division of TDCJ, currently Executive Director of the Correctional Management Institute of Texas (CMIT) MONTY HUDSPETH - currently Warden at Hospital Galveston, a TDCJ Correctional Institutions Division medical facility MARK WARREN - former Assistant Commander, Training Academy, Texas Department of Public Safety; currently Training Coordinator and Consultant, Texas Association of Counties RANDY GARNER - former chief of a Houston-area police department; currently professor of Criminal Justice at Sam Houston State University and author of the book Criticism Management MEL BROWN - former Chief of Adult Probation, Montgomery County, TX; past President of the Texas Corrections Association, Texas Probation Association, and Texas Juvenile Detention Association; currently president of Mel Brown and Associates VICKI SPRIGGS - has held various positions in juvenile justice throughout her long and distinguished career; currently Executive Director of the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission CHARLOTTE STALLINGS - former Vice President of Investment Strategies, as well as National Spokesperson, for American Express; currently a highly sought-after and entertaining national speaker o­n personal and professional leadership The venue for this program is incomparable. PLEASE NOTE: While participants are responsible for remitting payment to the Mayan Ranch during the program, CMIT will make reservations for all participants.

Course Payment: Please make checks for $325.00 payable to Sam Houston State University.

Lodging and Meals Payment is $121.00 per day to the Mayan Ranch to be paid during the program. This is a special discounted rate for our group.

Cancellation Policy:
If paid, full refunds will be given to those who cancel in writing more than ten (10) working days prior to the training. A refund of 70% of the fees paid will be authorized when a written request for cancellation and refund of conference or program fees is submitted less than ten (10) working days prior to the scheduled start of the program. If unpaid, those who cancel in writing more than ten (10) working days prior to the training will have all fees waived. When a written request for cancellation is submitted less than ten (10) working days prior to the scheduled start of the program, the participant will be responsible for 30% of the conference rate at the time they registered. The Correctional Management Institute of Texas reserves the right to retain or collect fees in full for those who fail to cancel in writing prior to the training or for those who fail to attend. Substitutions are permitted at anytime.
